Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍÅ¶Ó shows screening of ‘Precious Knowledge: The Power and the Threat of Culturally Relevant Teaching’

The TESOL Program at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍÅ¶Ó will host a screening of Precious Knowledge, a documentary about the struggle to save Mexican-American Studies in the Tucson Unified School District on Monday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Butler Reception Room. The film shows the power of culturally relevant curriculum in student success. A discussion, facilitated by TESOL Program graduate students, will follow the film. This event is especially relevant to anyone teaching pre-K-16 Latino students and area studies. Free and open to the public!
