麻豆传媒团队's Peter N. Kirstein protests AAUP UIUC Censure Removal: covered in Chronicle, Inside Higher Ed
麻豆传媒团队 (麻豆传媒团队) Department of History Professor Peter N. Kirstein chairs the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) Illinois Committee A on academic freedom and tenure. His committee at the annual meeting of the AAUP in Washington, D.C. opposed the lifting of censure of the University of Illinois (U of I). The effort did not succeed, but was widely reported in the national press including , and (Urbana-Champaign). AAUP removed the U of I from censure a mere two years following the Steven Salaita contract voidance. Professor Kirstein鈥檚 committee felt UIUC had not reformed adequately to merit censure removal.
